Additional rights for California residents under the CCPA / CPRA
Effective date: June 1, 2026
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) grants you specific rights regarding your personal information. This page supplements our Privacy Policy and describes those rights and how to exercise them.
We use personal information to provide telehealth services, process medication orders, communicate about your care, comply with legal obligations, and improve our platform. We do not use Sensitive Personal Information for purposes beyond those reasonably necessary to provide the requested services.
Terna Health does not sell your personal information to third parties, nor do we share it for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes. We may share limited data (such as device identifiers) with analytics providers, which some definitions under California law may characterize as "sharing." You may opt out of such sharing using the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link at the bottom of our website.
You have the right to request that we disclose: (1) the categories of personal information we have collected about you; (2) the categories of sources from which it was collected; (3) our business purpose for collecting or sharing it; (4) the categories of third parties with whom we share it; and (5) the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you.
You may request that we delete personal information we have collected from you. Exceptions apply when retention is required to complete a transaction, detect security incidents, comply with legal obligations, or carry out internally consistent uses you reasonably expect.
You have the right to request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to correct the information after verifying your identity.
You have the right to direct us to limit our use and disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information (including health data) to purposes necessary to provide the services you requested. To exercise this right, please contact us using the information below.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your California privacy rights. We will not deny services, charge different prices, or provide a different quality of service based solely on the exercise of these rights.
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request information about personal data shared with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year. Terna Health does not share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
